What an M3U playlist contains

An M3U URL is a link that a compatible player uses to load stream entries. It may include live TV groups and sometimes on-demand categories, depending on the app and service format. The URL is private: anyone who has it may be able to use your account.

Copy the complete URL from your activation instructions without altering punctuation or capitalization. Paste it into the player’s playlist field, save, and let the app load. Large playlists can take some time to organize on slower hardware.

What an EPG adds

An electronic program guide shows channel schedules, show names, and times. Some apps detect the guide automatically; others ask for a separate EPG URL. If channels play but the guide is blank, check this setting before assuming your subscription is inactive.

Guide data is supplied by separate sources and can be incomplete or delayed. A time-zone mismatch can make shows appear at the wrong hour, so confirm both device and app time-zone settings.

Xtream Codes and portal access

Some players ask for a server URL, username, and password rather than an M3U link. A portal-based box may ask for a portal URL and a device identifier. Use the exact method provided for your subscription.

Do not switch between login methods by guessing fields. Contact support if the player offers only a format that your credentials do not match. Many apps have multiple login screens hidden under separate setup choices.

Refreshing and troubleshooting

If categories or program details are missing, refresh the playlist and EPG in the app. Close and reopen the player if necessary. Check your device clock and network before re-entering credentials.

If an M3U URL returns an error, do not publish it online for help. Share only the error wording and app version with support through a private channel.

Using guide data responsibly

An EPG describes scheduled content; it does not grant distribution rights. Make sure the content you watch is provided with appropriate authorization in your location.

Keep your playlist secure and remove it from devices you sell or give away. Changing an account password or requesting fresh credentials can help after a device is lost.
